I don’t think that Pinterest gets enough credit. It is probably the most innocent and positive of all of the social media platforms. No one gets roasted on Pinterest. Fake news doesn’t get shared on Pinterest (at least I’ve never seen it). Pinterest stays true to what it set out to be: a place where you can get inspired and make boards of fun things you want to try. While it may create unrealistic expectations of DIY projects (aka the Pinterest fail), Pinterest is a great place to find ideas. Here are five Pinterest boards you should be following.
For home decor ideas: Decor/Home Hints. Instagram cactus aesthetic+helpful articles.
For DIY projects to do: Craft Projects. Cute, seasonal, practical.
For recipes: Easy Dinner Recipes. Over 1600 easy dinner ideas. Warning: do not scroll while hungry.
For laughs: Funny. Adult-ing jokes and off-brand memes. Sometimes too real.
For inspiration: Best Inspirational Quotes. The name says it all. RE: travel, adventure, and parallel structure.
There are my Pinterest board recommendations. Now, go forth and be inspired (or scroll until your back hurts, your eyes are burning, and you’ve planned all of your future children’s birthday party themes).
